Rev. Cook
My name is Simon Cook and I became a governor for three reasons:
As a Christian, I believe I am called to serve my local community, and especially to work for the support, education and encouragement of children, young people and their families.
Being a school governor means I can do that. As a parent, I want my son to have an excellent education, and to ensure his head, his teachers and his school environment give him the best possible preparation for the rest of his life. Being a school governor means I have a say in that.
As a person, I would love to make the world a better place for future generations.
Being a school governor means I can work with children, parents, teachers, governors, agencies and
the local authority to make that dream come true.
